FIVE GUYS, a U.S.-based burger franchise, which serves cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes has opened its second outlet in Pavilion, KL on April 11, 2022!
The “fast-casual” burger joint from the United States — which basically popularized the burger, fries, and milkshake combo, have a massive cult following in their home country, and is often talked about by celebrities on social media and pop culture sites. After opening the first branch successfully in Genting Highlands in December last year, a second outlet was officially opened in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The Pavilion store also retains its policy of serving 100% halal-certified beef on its menu. What separates Five Guys from other American fast food? They’re known for not just customizable food items like burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches, but also massive portions with a range of 15 different toppings, including lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, relish, A1 Steak Sauce, Bar-B-Que Sauce, and Hot Sauce.
But the customizations don’t stop there— you can also make your own milkshakes with “8 free mix-ins” including salted caramel, chocolate and malted milk. For French fries, they are hand-cut and made boardwalk-style—which means they’re firm on the outside with a creamy, mashed potato filling.
