TOKYO, Feb 27, 2020 — G-Shock has unveiled a new limited-edition watch dedicated to the famous actor Bruce Lee, who would have celebrated his 80th birthday this year.
The MRG-G2000BL features a titanium case and black and yellow bracelet, two colors that reference the tracksuit worn by the actor in his final film Game of Death.
Only 300 copies of the solar-powered handmade watches are produced.
Lee’s Kung-fu philosophy “Using no way as a way, having no limitation as limitation,” in Chinese, is also engraved on the bezel on the back of the case.
All the watch details have been customized to pay homage to the actor and director Bruce Lee — considered one of the greatest masters of martial arts in history, who died in 1973, at age 32.
