The distinguished honour recognises Senator Datuk Ras Adiba’s zealous contribution to creating a brighter future for the masses. As founder of OKU Sentral, Senator to represent OKU in Malaysia, and the nation’s first female chair of Bernama, she has been a key figure in advancing human rights, tirelessly advocating for the disempowered groups, and leveraging her platform to uncover societal injustices.
Aside from her advocacy work, she has also fearlessly participated in air rifle shooting for Malaysia in the Paralympic Games and marked her name in the Malaysian Book of Records for wheeling 420 km in 13 days.
We applaud Senator Datuk Ras Adiba. Valiant and strong, she is an inspiration to many, a beacon of hope.
