The Filipino professional boxer and Senator of the Philippines, recently spoke to the Manila Bulletin and expressed his grave concerns on the spread of the coronavirus, with no cure in sight.

The “Pac Man” said he will do everything possible to help his people survive through these difficult times as he was extremely worried about the drastic impact of COVID-19 around the globe.

Born on December 17, 1978 in Kibawe, Philippines, Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in boxing history. He has won 11 major world titles – including four of the original eight weight classes of boxing: flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight;

He is also a top contender for the 2022 Filipino presidential election. Incumbent president Rodrigo Duterte announced in December 2016 and 2017 that he intends to make Pacquiao his successor.
