Congratulations to Malaysian Singer Jeryl Lee Pei Ling, for receiving The BrandLaureate Country e-Branding Awards 2020.
Jeryl Lee is a young and talented Malaysian singer. She recently released a new song ”Respect 1,000,000″ inspired by the commitment and bravery of all frontline heroes, especially doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and volunteers, who fought against Covid-19 pandemic to safeguard the nation.
The song is a collaboration between Lee’s manager Ong Peng Chu, Aesos Lai, and famous Indonesian musician Chossy Pratama.
Ong shared the song with Malaysian Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, to thank him and his team for their selfless contributions in fighting the pandemic.
“You deserve 1,000,000 respect from the bottom of our hearts. It’s a tribute to the heroes who are fighting to keep us safe,” said Ong.
In his reply, Noor Hisham replied: ”Thank you, I’m really touched by this tribute” as many other netizens who are touched by this thoughtful and meaningful song.
