May your life be full of Blessings, Peace and Happiness on this day of enlightenment.
Vesak is one of the most important Buddhist festivals. It is also known as Wesak or Buddha Day. It marks the birth date of Lord Buddha and is celebrated every year around May.
According to historical records, Buddha was born as Prince Siddhartha Gautam in Lumbini, Nepal and died at the age of 83.
Vesak is a celebration of Buddha’s birthday and, for some, it marks his enlightenment (when he discovered life’s meaning).
It is also a time to reflect on his teachings and what it means to be a Buddhist.
Happy Buddha Purnima to you and your family in conjunction with Vesak Day.
