We, at The BrandLaureate, would like to relay a hearty congratulations to the nationโs diving queen, YBhg Datuk Pandelela Rinong Pamg, a recipient of The BrandLaureate Grand Master Brand Icon Leadership Award 2012, on being crowned the 2021 National Sportswoman at the National Sports Awards for the fourth time!
Pandelela has come a long way since her first Olympic debut at the budding age of 15, carving her own route and winning major titles at the Olympics and World Championships.
She is Malaysia’s pride and joy, having achieved many firsts for the country. Most recently, she earned the title as the first Malaysian to win the Diving World Cup gold medal in the womenโs 10m platform individual final in Japan.
