CSR makes perfect business sense. In the short run, it might mean additional costs, but in the long run, CSR can help to enhance the value of the brand and foster higher morale among employees.

The Brandlaureate embarks on CSR programs annually, not only because it makes perfect business sense, but because we firmly believe that it is our responsibility as corporate citizens to contribute to the well being of society and that we should give back to society whenever we can. To achieve our CSR objectives, we also support and work hand-in-hand with charitable organizations and NGOS to aid them in their quest for the betterment of humanity.

Staff are also encouraged to volunteer with charitable organizations and NGOS of their own choice in their own personal capacity, because if every person were to make some effort to do something good, the world would be a better place for all to live in.

Don’t Just Quit It, Crush It

In conjunction with World No Tobacco Day, the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation supported the “Don’t Just Quit It, Crush It” Planet Rally that was held in Sunway Pyramid on the 31st of May, 2012. With more support, it hopes to reduce the number of smokers not only in Malaysia, but around the world.

The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation places great emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As a corporate citizen, it believes in contributing to the well-being of society and giving back to the community whenever we can.

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park-17 January 2010

The management and staff of The BrandLaureate took time out for some fun and games with the children from the House of Joy and Light House at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park on Sunday, 17 January 2010.

Donation of RM10,000 to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia on 16 January

In conjunction with Alain Robert’s lecture “Overcoming Your Fear, Climbing Your Way To The Top”, the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation presented a donation of RM10,000.

Financial Aid for Underprivileged Family

The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation reached out to a family in need in 2009. Carmen and her children received a donation to help them through rough times during the economic downturn, and the APBF hopes that their circumstances will improve in the months to come.

PKMS Fundraiser Jumble Sale – 1 August 2009

The staff of The BrandLaureate chipped in to help the PKMS (Pertubuhan Kebajikan Mental Selangor) with their fundraiser jumble sale on 1 August 2009, which was organized to raise funds for setting up a Ladies’ Hostel. Held on the grounds of one of their homes, the jumble sale ran from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
