THE BrandLaureate extends our deepest condolences to the family of the late Dr. Ir. Ciputra, Indonesia’s leading developer, business tycoon, and philanthropist, who passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019, in Singapore at the age of 88.
Ciputra was also the recipient of The BrandLaureate Brand Icon Leadership Award – Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Last year, on August 24, 2018, The BrandLaureate team flew down to Indonesia to present an award to Dr. Ir. Ciputra at Raffles Hotel in Jakarta, in conjunction with his 87th birthday.
Ciputra was awarded The BrandLaureate Brand Icon Leadership Award – Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his achievements as a visionary leader and entrepreneur.
He was also featured as the cover story on the Sept-Oct` 18 issue of The BrandLaureate Business World Review Magazine. (Pic above), and was presented with The BrandLaureate Book of World Record as “The First Property Developer of Indonesia.”
His greatest achievements include transforming Indonesia from an underdeveloped country into a rapidly emerging economy and changing the mindsets of Indonesians to become true innovators and entrepreneurs.
