It is with heavy hearts that we, at The BrandLaureate, bid farewell to Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Bin Mahmud, recipient of The BrandLaureate Brand ICON Leadership Award 2012 – Legendary ICON.
Serving as Sarawakโs longest-serving Chief Minister from 1981 to 2014 and later as governor for three terms from March 1, 2014, until January 26, 2024, his leadership spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on the state’s history and will be remembered for generations to come. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who mourn his loss. May they find comfort during this time.
