TODAY, April 1, 2020, is April Fool’s Day — known as the day for celebrating practical jokes and spreading outlandish stories.

Traditionally, it allows companies to take a tongue-in-cheek approach to their marketing strategies, but this year, major companies have decided to cancel April 1 due the Coronavirus pandemic.

Heinz and Lego, have told The Telegraph that their social media channels will instead be dedicated to support vulnerable members of the public.
