Congratulations to Yang di-Pertuan Agong His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, on his installation as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on his 60th birthday, today.
A coronation ceremony will be held at the throne room at Istana Negara, where His Majesty will be officially installed as the King.
His Majesty was a recipient of The BrandLaureate Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.
His birthday wish for the country throughout his five-year reign, is to see the citizens united and living a peaceful, stable and harmonious life,
Some 700 guests are expected to attend the coronation ceremony including Brunei’s Sultan Hasanal Bolkiah, Jordan’s Prince Ali Al-Hussein, and Abu Dhabi’s crown prince, Sheikh Mohamed Zayed Al-Nahyan.
Tuesday, July 30, 2019, has been declared a public holiday in conjunction with the coronation of the King.
