First and foremost, let me welcome all of you to the BrandLaureate Awards Gala dinner 2021 — The first, since the last we held on March 6, 2021. See how time flies. Time flies so easily.
It has been nearly two years of the lockdown. This is the first physical gala dinner, and to be standing here greetings and seeing all of you is so surreal is also Joy unspeakable. It is good to be back! Yes, we are back. It is so great to be alive. Yes, we are alive. I am so happy to see all of you here. Honestly, a feeling of great appreciation and gratitude for all the support that all of you have given me and the BrandLaureate during these tough times is really commendable.
Let me thank and applaud all of you here tonight for your presence and for your support, your presence. You really made my day and really make my life fulfilled. It is really overwhelming standing here, and I am overwhelmed as to what to say tonight.
Let me congratulate all the winners of the BrandLaureate award. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big round of applause to all the worthy deserving winners for tonight.
Tonight’s Award presentation is a coming together of three awards. For the first time we have the Trilogy of three awards — The BrandLaureate Brand Icon Awards, The BrandLaureate e-Branding Awards and The BrandLaureate Prominent Awards which were never done before.
Organizing this award during the pandemic has not been easy. We had to adapt to the situation. We have to adopt new ways and technology to continue with the business. And I’m so proud to say that we did it! Yes. Tough times call for tough measures, isn’t it? We wouldn’t have known how strong we are until we are tested. And tonight it is the testament to win. Hello? Hello? Hello!
So If you are a brand owner, you will want to ensure that your brand is a masterpiece. Well-positioned with a brand story that is strong and memorable and known for his positive attributes. You want your masterpiece, you want your brand to be the centre of attraction, and attention to create that awareness. You want it to be the centre piece, to take the center stage.
That should be your Brand positioning. Always be at the pole position — To Be Seen, To Be Heard, To Be Known, and To Be Remembered. And most importantly To Be Recognized, that is why every brand should be positioning themselves.

I was a nobody. And now I am a somebody to everybody, to Brands and Branding. I am a Game Changer. I am an Influencer. I am the Mover and Shaker in the World of Branding. I want to encourage you. What I have done. You can. So can you.
Tonight, once again, I would like to congratulate all the recipients. You are Bold and Courageous to push through the challenges that you face during this pandemic.
You have great attributes that make you a good Brand and you have the strength and tenacity to Stay, Focus and Stay On, no matter what. And tonight I applaud you for your commitment to your Brand.
