KUALA LUMPUR, (Thursday, August 13, 2020) — There is new landmark in town, the RM3 billion Star Residences at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

The BrandLaureate presented two awards during the grand opening of Star Suites at Star Residence 1, August 13, 2020.

The first award was The Book of World Records award, presented to Star Residences CEO Alan Koh for “The Unique Star-shape Kinetic Features” — with 88,000 pieces of stainless steel plates, located at the podium faรงade of the building — touted to be the first in the world.

The second award was The International Icon Award, presented to contemporary artist Red Hong Yi for the โ€œExpression of Iconic Masterpieces of Art Through Material Objects 2020.”

DrKKJohan who has known Koh for many years said the Star Residences project is a dream come true and represents the epitome of brand success in the prestigious KLCC neighborhood.

Another upcoming attraction is the Star Walk of Fame, a co-branding project with The BrandLaureate, featuring famous international brand personalities that will turn the place into a tourist attraction and shine bright as a lucky star in the neighborhood.

Also present during the awards ceremony was Chairman Tan Sri Rainer Althoff, CEO Chew Bee Peng, and former Deputy Prime Minister Tun Musa Hitam.
