Grand opening of Universal Beijing
The much-anticipated Universal Beijing Resort officially opened for business on Monday Sept 20, 2021, signaling Chinaโs opening-up and vibrant consumer market.
The Universal Beijing Resort will become a barometer for China’s tourism industry.
Theme parks including Universal Studios and Disneyland have remained popular in China, which reflects Chinese society’s open and friendly attitude towards foreign culture.
Now with Universal Beijing Resort in the north, a total of three mega foreign theme parks have arrived in China, including Hong Kong Disneyland and a Shanghai Disneyland both in South China.
It is also indicative of China’s economic progress and increasingly national consumption capacity, including its middle classes which has been constantly been refreshed and modernized.
